Control boxes

As part of the gate system, the control box holds half of the role to make the automated gate works. It’s accepting the electricity power and distribute it to the system and other parts that make the gate works. It is like the brains of the gate system. Power is supplied to the control board, it could be in the form of Alternating Current or Direct Current and it waits to receive a transmission from your transmitter (remote control) via either an add on or built-in receiver board which in turn sends a signal to the control chip which sends a signal to the relay that will activate the motor to run.

If the control box is the damage it can still be replaced without replacing the whole system or the arm motor. It can also be upgraded to a better version without sacrificing the whole system.

Although not all motor require to have a control box since others have a built-in control board and receiver, it may still found mostly with swinging gate system or with old model of sliding gate opener.
